DEFINITION: This is customized work designed to provide practical experience to individuals in a variety of commonwealth occupations.

An employee in this job is responsible for performing tasks in a variety of commonwealth work settings. Work assignments are customized to the skills and abilities of the employee and provide increasingly responsible practical work experience. Work is performed under the close supervision of higher-level staff and is reviewed while in progress and upon completion.

• Participates in formal classroom, computer-based, and on-the-job training.
