Position Purpose: Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. The purpose of this position is to provide technical work in the development and maintenance of the PLCB’s Oracle Cloud ERP applications. This position is responsible for the analysis, design, planning, development, testing, maintenance, and documentation of components of the PLCB’s ERP Cloud system. |

Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. Provide IT Support and maintenance responsibility for Merchandise Foundation Cloud Service (MFCS); Pricing Cloud Service (PCS); Internal and External Order Management Portals Special Order Portal (SO); Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC OM); Internal and External Licensee Online Ordering Portal (LOOP); and AppWorx/ESS/OIC/POM Job Manager interfaces run instructions and interface monitoring. Analyze business requirements, develop, and validate detailed functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions and workflow (RICEW) objects, monitoring daily scheduled interfaces to and from application systems, developing and executing unit, integration and user acceptance testing as well as developing test scripts. Communicate with the RICEW, Technical, and Testing teams as well as business owners, frequently. Major responsibilities of the incumbent include: A. Develop, maintain, standardize, or revise technical documents based on business requirements. Includes being able to identify functional requirements by looking at\analyzing processes and flows. B. Provides technical guidance to business owners regarding the systems and applications supported. C. Assist business personnel in script execution. This requires effective verbal and written communications. D. Resolves or escalates project related issues that may impact project status\scope which would cause projects not to be completed within established timeframes. E. Participates in the development of functional team standards and templates. F. Analyzes, designs, constructs, and tests complex programs for use in any of the supported systems. G. Leads, develops, executes, and documents unit, integration and user acceptance test scenarios and scripts as necessary (sometimes in conjunction with the technical operations team members). H. Supports Oracle, MFCS, PDH, LOOP and OM system updates and upgrade activities. I. Uses support tools to create service tickets, to do research, to request one-off patches to correct known Oracle system problems. J. Provides prompt suggestion for resolution to applications problems for mission critical applications. K. Analyzes business requirements to help determine appropriate system solutions. L. Confers with RICEW team members to discuss requests for customization, including the customization requirements, feasibility, and the priority for each request. M. Work in conjunction with other technical and program teams to effectively manage the release process for various projects, enhancements, and break-fixes. N. Work with other personnel or outside agency personnel for the benefit of relaying information\resolving issues. Examples would be the Licensee, Comptrollers, and Auditors. Other Tasks and Responsibilities: A. Keeps abreast of technology developments and Commonwealth strategic plans and informs business owners of potential impacts. B. Prepares status reports as required by project management identifying progress and/or deviations from objectives. C. Performs other related job duties as needed. This position may be required to research and support ERP cloud business process solutions in the future. |
