Position Purpose:
Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. Example: Provides clerical and office support within the Division to ensure its operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. 

The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support and assistance to the Landowner Resource Office. The Landowner Resources houses the agency’s landowner access and hunting support programs, which includes the Certified Hunter Program, Hunter Access Program, Deer Management Assistance Program, and Processor Program.

Description of Duties:
Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor.

•Develop and maintain administrative processes to enhance operational needs for each program. This includes databases, filing systems, workflow protocols, etc.
•Assist in researching legislation, regulations and other records as directed.
•Process certified hunter applications by completing background checks, administering certification tests, scheduling shooting range tests, etc.
•Engage with legislators, federal and state agencies to provide information regarding each program within the office.
•Schedule speaking obligations and public appearances as directed. Arrange travel accommodations.
•Support hunter engagement through connections via email, phone or in-person to assist them in participating in offered programs, providing information, and answering questions about each program offered.
•Assist in the preparation of budget estimates and other budgeting responsibilities.
•Coordinate meetings with landowners, prepare materials, and assist with program enrollments.
•Analyze data collected and develop reports accordingly.
•Attend field visits as necessary.
•Collaborate with regional and other bureau staff as needed.
•Handle correspondence, reports, and data entry to ensure accurate tracking of program metrics and compliance.
•Collaborate with office staff to organize workshops, trainings, and outreach events.
•Answers phone calls, emails, mail and other inquiries for the office.
•Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Functions
