Position Purpose: Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. Example: Provides clerical and office support within the Division to ensure its operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. This is work involved in the installation, operation, and carrying out maintenance and repair of lighting, ballasts, motors, controls, switches, receptacles, electric panels, meters, disconnects, buses, transformers and generators. |

Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. 80% -(1)- Performs full scope of electrical related duties, install and repair. (2)- Layout and install electrical conduits for power, machinery and lighting. (3)- Installs open and concealed wiring and lighting fixtures. (4)- Maintain and repair unit heaters, fans, floor scrubbers, circulating pumps and other electrical equipment and appliances. (5)- Repair motors, relays, switches, and controls. (6)- Installs, alters, repairs, maintains, and locates defects in a variety of electrical equipment and systems. (7)- Interprets and works from technical sketches and blueprints. (8)- Maintains 480-volt PDU's and 480-volt panel boxes. 5% -Maintains generator log and maintenance on emergency diesel generators. 5% - Maintains Fire and door alarms. 5% - Plows snow for Winter Maintenance; utilizing Plow truck and other grounds equipment. 5% - Performs other duties as required |
