Position Purpose:
Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. Example: Provides clerical and office support within the Division to ensure its operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. 

The employee in this position performs clerical work for the Bureau of
Liquor Control Enforcement, District Enforcement Office No. 9, Allentown.

Description of Duties:
Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor.

35% Generates Computer Aided Dispatch numbers (CAD) from the Records Management System (RMS); enters complaints into the Incident Tracking System (ITS); enters violation and warning letter dates into the ITS; separates investigative reports. Obtains files for supervisors that are needed for complaints, etc. Enters Citations and Adjudications into the ITS and creates Public Information Release Reports.

15% Performs the duties of primary Timekeeper; ensures that all leave is recorded accurately and timely; enters data into the SAP system to include completed entries of overtime, shift differential, and working out-of-class.

10% Performs the duties of primary Travel Arranger; ensures that all travel documentation is recorded accurately and timely; enters the data into the Concur Travel system to include all applicable spending and the proper allocations are used, arranges hotel stays, car rentals and other related duties.

5% Types reports from officers’ dictation or handwritten copy, correspondence, and various documents, including violation and warning letters, using transcribing equipment and computer. Knowledge of spelling, punctuation, grammar and proper format is essential.

15% Assist with the duties of the electronic filing system and purge schedule. Researches the CLAs and Noise Exemptions in PLCE/POSSE and updates in ITS.

10% Assists with the duties of receptionist, which involves screening of telephone calls, transferring telephone calls to the proper individuals and providing information to callers when necessary, answering the door, having visitors sign in, and providing direction to appropriate personnel.

5% Acts as the secondary Supply Clerk. Acts as secondary Inventory Control Clerk. This entails the labeling of al property/equipment with the district office, as well as typing and coding the Inventory Control Record and the surplus equipment, as well as conducting an annual inventory.

5% Performs other related duties as required.

General supervision. Clerical Supervisor initiates assignments and results are reviewed by the Clerical Supervisor and District Office Commander.
