Position Purpose:

Description of Duties:
Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor.

Uses SAP System, does monthly fuel reports, orders fuels, keeps records of daily fuel and oil dispersement, inputs manual issues/non-issues, correct fueling errors, tasks associated with voyager card changes, including E-mail, orders voyager cards, and responsible for inventory of inactive voyager cards. Inputs information on 805 screen, performs all equipment tasks, theft and vandalism reports, all as instructed by the Equipment Manager. Utilizes SAP and E-Mail.

Completes personal and equipment accident packets for 3-2/3-6 in their entirety.
Responsible for stockpile monthly and quarterly check lists.

Performs all filing for the Equipment Office, including M-614's, as instructed by the Equipment Manager.

Prepares correspondence, forms, letters and reports from rough draft or by general instruction pertaining to a county equipment office as required, as instructed by the Equipment Manager. Updates Mobile Emergency Team (MET) roster yearly.

Processes all Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Equipment History files, which includes posting work orders, as instructed by Equipment Manager.

Responds to all garage phone and most radio transmissions as instructed by the Equipment Manager.

Maintain wash bay log book.

Updates log for pick-up of waste materials.

Responsible for ordering fuels for all stockpiles, including motor oil and UTF.

Responsible for entering payrolls for all garage personnel. Maintains the ROA cards for garage personnel.

Inputs all training in LSO for Lycoming/Sullivan County.

Inputs all manual fuel entries for all stockpiles and foremen's tanks for 3-2/3-6.

Responsible for answering the phone and radio. Enter 805's in SAP.
Tracks and documents safety culture activities.

Schedule repair for radios, order new license plates, hotel reservations for employees, prepares expense vouchers and receives materials in SRM & MIGO.

Performs all tasks related to equipment moves and keeps the logbook current.

Performs other duties as required and pertinent to the Equipment Manager requirements. Work is done with very little supervision and at time no supervision.

Succession Planning:
Take an active role in succession planning by completing a Career Development Plan in collaboration with the supervisor. In conjunction with the supervisor, participate in knowledge management/transfer by identifying key aspects of the job and sharing explicit and tacit program/technical knowledge with other employees.

SEMP/PennDOT Green Plan Policy:
Recognizing that everyone is involved in the District's and County's actions to demonstrate sound environmental practices, each employee fulfills the maintenance unit business plan objectives related to the Strategic Environmental Management Program (SEMP)
Commit to following the Department's Green Plan Policy (Pub 712) and the associated principles. Failure to comply with the Department Green Plan policy shall be documented in employee's performance review.

Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA):
Unless directed otherwise by your supervisor or manager, comply with stated work hours for the 7.5 hour day.
