Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. Serves as time advisor responsible and accountable for the Time Administration Program for SCI Huntingdon. Provides specialized direction, guidance, and analysis regarding SAP time issues to facility timekeepers and employees including managers and supervisors. Researches and resolves various problems and provides solutions to payroll questions by using policies/procedures, rules/regulations, alerts and the SAP system. Performs internal Quarterly Overtime Audits on all Timekeepers and follows up on any deficiencies ensuring Timekeepers receive guidance. Prepares and submits audit documentation to appropriate staff. Reviews and completes all post audits accomplishing error resolution. Serves as a lead worker to facility timekeepers, providing guidance and analysis to all timekeepers, department heads, and supervisors on SAP time and attendance and in resolving time and attendance, leave and overtime issues, and problems and concerns in SAP. Provide Timekeeper training involving eligibility, absences, attendances, differentials, substitutions, generating reports, entering transactions in SAP R/3 Time Management and CAT screens. providing guidance and analysis to all timekeepers, department heads, and supervisors on SAP time and attendance and in resolving time and attendance, leave and overtime issues, and problems and concerns in SAP. Provide Timekeeper training involving eligibility, absences, attendances, differentials, substitutions, generating reports, entering transactions in SAP R/3 Time Management and CAT screens. Responsible for complete detailed information for various Human Resource transactions involving reassignments, leave payouts and position reclassifications; either by processing or forwarding to the HR Service Center, whichever is appropriate. Processes all related correspondence and forms for the transactions and forwards the PAR transmission to the HR Service Center. Inputs or directs the input of these transactions. Maintains operating log and processes transactions necessary for reclassification and grievance settlements, arbitration rulings, Civil Service settlements, etc., involving detailed history calculations and input through SAP by ensuring all required information is input through the PAR system for the centralized processing of the Human Resource transaction. Monitors maintenance charges as set forth by the current schedule of maintenance charges. Coordinates the SPF/FMLA Program for the combined HR Office. Works directly with the SPF/FMLA Central Office unit by obtaining proper documentation from employees, monitoring and inputting appropriate absent codes and answering questions from employees pertaining to SPF/FMLA. Maintains an SPF/FMLA tickler system. Assists Central Office with the Leave Donation Program by gathering and submitting documents. Workers Compensation Liaison Provides guidance and direction in the areas of the Worker’s Compensation Program for all employees of SCI-Huntingdon to include those covered by Work-Related Injury Leave, Heart and Lung, and Act. 632. Ensures employees are placed on appropriate supplemental benefit. Reviews Workers Compensation Incident reports for completeness. Submits injury reports to Central Office Worker's Compensation advisor. Communicates with employees, Inservco, supervisor, Central Office by telephone/email when medical/lost time is involved. Obtains work status reports monthly for medical/lost time claims and forwards to adjuster, supervisor, and Central Office. Coordinates and verification of employees returning to work full duty or modified duty. Must analyze the medical documentation to determine if the employee can return to full duty, modified duty, or stay out on leave and submits the necessary documentation if needed. Assists employees with a variety of tasks to include -submitting PEBTF Health Benefits Enrollment/Change Packet and faxes or emails to HR Service Center, faxing military orders to Central Office, explaining the recruitment process, providing leave balances, providing appropriate contact information for retirement, benefits, etc. Tracking and preparing the ACA benefits letters to staff on LWOP.
