Position Purpose:

This position is responsible for the development and implementation of regional strategies, pertaining to management of the District Visual Merchandisers, shelf management and retail merchandising for all PLCB Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores.

Description of Duties:
Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor.

• Manage 9+ District Visual Merchandisers within region of responsibility

• Build, develop, and retain talent in the Visual Merchandising function

• Communicate and implement strategy by guiding District Visual Merchandisers

• Manage escalations from District Visual Merchandisers

• Guide District Visual Merchandisers on best practices and priorities

• Translate Visual Merchandising Chiefs strategic direction and standards into guidance for district and store-level execution

• Accountable for consistent merchandising execution within region of responsibility

• Collaborate with Product Management and Replenishment to define promotional space and region clustering of stores by available space/sales

• Collaborate with internal analytics team to review financial performance of sales and volume of regional stores by weekly and monthly basis

• Review visual merchandising compliance for stores within region of responsibility. Discuss themes and opportunities to course correct with District Visual Merchandise

Decision Making:

Decides whether stores’ shelf set and floor display execution sufficiently complies with shelf management and merchandising policies, and decides whether to escalate faults for merchandising supervisor’s and Retail Operations management’s intervention. Proactively offers training and redirection to stores based on these policies.
