Position Purpose: Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. Under the supervision of the Administrative Officer 3, Property Division, responsible for the design of state-owned and leased facilities and assisting with requirements for construction and renovation facilities for the Department of Labor and Industry. |

Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. Assists with coordinating renovation projects with DGS. visits construction sites, and attends design meetings and final inspections. Assists with the preparation of specifications and floor plans for invitations to bid for minor projects, and coordinates, Office of Information Technology (OIT), and program office. Ensures renovations and modifications are completed within the scope of work and compliance to specifications. Prepares office layouts utilizing AutoCAD and assists with preparing specifications to be used in renovation/expansion projects in leased facilities. Coordinates the with lessor and lessor’s contractors, architects, engineers, DGS, and program and other related L&I offices during the architectural process to obtain finalized drawings. Works in conjunction with L&I maintenance staff to provide renovations for the L&I Building. Assists in coordinating L&I Building projects with DGS and various L&I program areas. Assists in the disposition of state-owned facilities no longer needed in conjunction with DGS, program office, and other related L&I operations. Maintains electronic building plans section. Responsible for conversion of building plans from hard copy to CAD system. In the absence of the Leasing Administrative Officer 3 and the Leasing Administrative Officer 2, conducts the relocation team meetings with all involved parties to ensure moves are performed in a timely manner with minimal disruption. Performs other duties as required. |
