Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. Orchestrate strategic plans for marketing initiatives for promotions and programs associated with new game launches and other initiatives as warranted utilizing statewide consumer and retailer promotions. Stay abreast of Lottery industry promotions and best practices. Recommend promotions that will drive player engagement and sales and profits for senior programs. Oversee, develop and maintain timelines and budgets for all promotional activities. Manage the designer's role on promotional support materials. Identify priorities while working within vendor partner parameters, set timetables and administer plans through completion, including promotion performance analysis. Identify and produce internal and external Lottery communications/budgets for promotions and programs and manage the planning, research, development and execution to consumers and retailers via communications including marketing support, gaming terminal and ticket messaging. Work closely with Digital Marketing division to provide continuity of work on supporting digital platforms. Develop and manage all coupon programs overseeing design, barcode development, printing, delivery and provide ROI evaluations. Oversight of vendor partners and close communication with Lottery Security is necessary to execute, ensure security, distribution and activation of barcodes and distribution and redemption of coupons. Present promotions, programs and budgets for approval to Lottery Senior Staff. Provide regular budget analysis and recaps to Lottery Senior Staff. Meet with corporate/retailer accounts to present programs and conduct evaluations in conjunction with Retail Operations personnel as needed. Travel as required. Demonstrates a commitment to the service-oriented culture of the Department. Applies Lean thinking in day-to-day tasks. Is mindful of internal controls and risk management when changes are made to a process. Treats others equitably and adheres to diversity and inclusion program requirements in the workplace. Perform other duties as required. |
