Position Purpose:
Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. Example: Provides clerical and office support within the Division to ensure its operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. 

This position is located within the Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Division at the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) and serves as the digital asset manager for Fine Wine & Good Spirits (FW&GS).

Description of Duties:
Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor.

Works within the third-party product management system to evaluate and approve, reject or edit images as necessary. Evaluates quality of supplied digital assets according to agency brand standard and parameters to ensure brand and accessibility standards are being met.

Provides photography direction to contracted photographer to improve the quality of images and to maintain consistency as well as work with suppliers to attain high quality images.

Reviews images provided by contracted photographer and product suppliers, ensuring the correct meta-data is assigned to all digital assets and meets accessibility standards.

Participates in A/B testing of images on digital channels to monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and promotions.

Collaborates with Marketing team on selecting the most appealing and successful images to employ based on data collected from FWGS.com, email campaigns, and social media reporting.

Utilizes asset creation and editing software such as Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Suite products, or other related tools to edit images and has familiarity with.

Implements and maintains a digital asset management system for use with FW&GS digital marketing channels.

Manages the acquisition, quality, and storage of digital images from product suppliers and contracted photographers for use on FWGS.com and in digital marketing.

Monitors and maintains all images on FWGS.com to ensure that the site features accurate product labeling, packaging, storefronts, and content.

Coordinates with Product Management and suppliers on the receipt of new products/packages, including value-added packages, seasonal packaging, one-time buys and internally created product packaging (gift sets, marketing sets, seasonal packaging, etc.) and acquiring or photographing the appropriate images.

Manages the engagement with the contracted photographer to ensure accurate and reconciled record-keeping regarding images photographed, categorization of images (front, back, side, other) and invoicing and payment.

Tracks digital asset usage in all repositories, analyzes storage limitations/capacity, and follows up with management on next steps.

Coordinates with IT to ensure imported images flow to and are correct on FWGS.com.

Coordinates with the e-commerce fulfillment center for visits by the contracted photographer on an agreed-upon cadence to ensure the appropriate products are available and accessible for photo shoots at the facility.

Develops and maintains a process for requesting images or bottles from product suppliers to ensure all products online have corresponding images on FWGS.com.

Utilizes third-party asset management system and Oracle Commerce Cloud systems to upload images and Coordinates with website content manager.

Collaborates on the development and implementation of the strategy for cataloging, annotating (metadata schema & taxonomies), tagging storage, retrieval, and distribution of creative digital assets, and manages the ongoing structure.

Conducts annual reviews of all digital assets on FWGS.com to ensure all products have the most current labeling and packaging images available, requesting updated images from vendors and suppliers as needed.

Evaluates and recommends improvements to digital asset management processes and procedures.

Alerts e-commerce department and digital editor regarding need for product details, expert reviews and other information.

Works with store operations to make sure the most up to date storefront image is presented on FWGS.com

Takes digital photographs using professional camera and lighting equipment.

Determines ideal image and picture composition and adjust subjects, equipment and lighting to achieve desired effects.

Names images using established image naming standards.

Travels to photo shoot locations as necessary.

Supports website content creation, as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
