Position Purpose: Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. Example: Provides clerical and office support within the Division to ensure its operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. To analyze, evaluate and ensure the overall effectiveness of the Child Support Enforcement Program on an on-going basis. Establish and maintain effective liaison interfaces with the local IV-D Domestic Relations Sections, the local IV-A County Assistance offices, Children and Youth Services Offices, and both intra-and inter-state to coordinate case activity, mediate disputes, foster program compliance, optimize collections and promote self-sufficiency of families. |

Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. Specific Duties Include but Are Not Limited To: •Prepare reports and recommendations on inter-agency contacts and perform related administrative duties including those involving recommendations of good cause, client noncooperation and compromise of arrears issues. •Provide systems (eCIS & eQuate) training to CAO and DRS staff •Monitor automated systems to ensure data integrity. •Perform individual case audits. •Review and analyze data to ensure proper distribution of child support payments; evaluate and recommend dispositions for FXR cases and Excess Over Unreimbursed Assistance (EOURA) cases; compute and execute refund and case audits as necessary. •Monitor Acknowledgement of Paternity Program (AOP). Maintain an effective liaison relationship with hospital staff. Provide training on completion of AOP and new initiatives •Represent the Department’s interests and/or testify as a witness in child support conferences/hearings and Departmental FAIR hearings, including a preparation of preliminary and suppl |

Example: In response to a customer inquiry, this work involves researching the status of an activity and preparing a formal response for the supervisor’s signature. •Monitor individual cases for data integrity. •Interprets, investigates, and validates client inquiries. •Compares results of individual case studies/contacts to identify patterns of deficiencies in child support services. Study results will be forwarded to supervisor and/or management. •Provide technical assistance to Domestic Relations Section and County Assistance Offices. •Prepares materials necessary for representing the Department at Fair Hearings. •Staff use independent decision-making skills in accordance with the CSEP and business procedures when performing their duties. Complex issues are referred to supervisor or management for decision. |
