Position Purpose:
Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. Example: Provides clerical and office support within the Division to ensure its operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. 

The employee in this position is responsible for all clerical functions related to the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring and evaluation of active treatment programming in SRS.

This includes responsibility for scheduling and tracking all patient activities within structured active treatment program centers in Wernersville State Hospital.

This requires that the employee occupying this position be familiar with program center operations. Duties include matter of a complex nature requiring independent judgment.

Description of Duties:
Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor.

Specific duties include:
1. Develops, organizes and maintains computer programs in order to coordinate, update and communicate consumers active treatment programming. This includes entering and retrieving information related to programs/attendance and as it relates to program scheduling and staff assignments in Electronic Health Record.
2. Computes and communicates program data on a daily basis in order to reflect changes in consumer schedules and all operational features pertaining to active treatment programs to maintain active treatment with minimal disruption.

3. Provides daily information to all active treatment program center staff and communicates with the living areas, as needed, in order to maintain program operations. Updated patient group board in documentation center.

4. Orders supplies, maintains supply room and completes work orders for the program center and staff in order to maintain uninterrupted delivery of services.

5. Completes and distributes all TAS department work schedules. Updates job descriptions/performance standards and coordinates and types performance ratings for the TAS staff.

6. Resolves scheduling conflicts as directed by the TASD, TAS Manager, and TAS Supervisors in order to support continuity of Active Treatment Services.

7. Completes clerical work as assigned by the TASD or TAS Manager or TAS Supervisor and reports any significant changes to supervisors in order to maintain accurate and up to date information.

8. Attend staff council meetings, record minutes, and distribute to staff.

9. Timekeeping duties for TAS, VAS and consumer inputting of attendance.

10. attend and be a recorder at assigned CSP meetings.

11. Obtains and maintains CPR and Crisis Intervention (MANDT) & appropriately utilizes those skills.

12. LEP duties of scheduling, timesheets and updating database on LEP users.

1. Determines priority of work assigned in order to meet deadlines.
2. Formats correspondence, schedules, bulletins and information tracking forms.
3. Answers employee, supervisor and TAS manager questions in regard to program supply purchases.

Essential Functions

 1. Ability to operate office machines such as computers, copiers, printers, calculators, FAX machines, etc.
 2. Ablility of develop, organize and maintain office files and computer files and applications as required by the active treatment program centers.
 3. Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
 4. Ability to manually and by using computer application, update active treatment program center and patient files and documents.
 5. Ability to use computer applications to track and monitor active treatment program participation
 6. Ability to extract information from computer and hard files and organize patient documentation records for each program session.
 7. Read, write and communication orally in English
 8. Work overtime as required; subject to emergency call in.
 9. Pull from files and copy information as requested from program center staff and for other departments who have a need for copies.
