Position Purpose:
Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. Example: Provides clerical and office support within the Division to ensure its operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. 

Provides clerical support for the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole (PBPP), Case Management Office to ensure that sentencing records are efficiently and accurately maintained.

Description of Duties:
Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor.

40% Reviews sentence information from assigned prisons to verify migration into Parole systems. Notifies the prison records’ officer if sentencing information is not accessible. Researches electronic document systems to determine if a file has been created. Ensures proper document indexing within parole files.

40% Reviews sentencing to determine if all Judges and District Attorneys received notifications and, if not, prepares such notifications for signature/mailing. Utilizes electronic filing system to retain and maintain records.

10% logs cases reviewed in the Judge and District Attorney database.

5% Schedules and attends required training each fiscal year.

5% Performs other related duties as assigned.
