Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. Maintains and monitors office supplies and promotional brochures associated with the Park Office and Visitor Center operations. Processes monthly automotive and liquid fuels reports and completes necessary DGS web site inputs and filing. Utilizes the Reservation and Revenue System to make reservations within the rental time frames set by the system, collects and records payments for overnight facilities and point of sale items, reconciles daily cash balances with cash drawer amounts, issues refunds for changes in reservations, and prints daily usage and fiscal reports for all reservable facilities. Reports all problems with software to proper sources for corrective action. Uses park computers with Microsoft Office and word processing for Commonwealth, Bureau, and Employee forms; fiscal spreadsheets, databases, and other applications in order to complete clerical tasks. Assists the Administrative Assistant in the annual purging of park fiscal, general information, and correspondence files. Processes water sample bottles and forms according to water sampling schedules. Assists Park Visitors by answering their questions concerning Park and Bureau Rules and Regulations. Directs telephone and two-way radio communications to proper park personnel for action. Performs other duties as necessary or required. |
