Position Purpose:
Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. Example: Provides clerical and office support within the Division to ensure its operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. 

This position performs a variety of HR support functions for DOC Human Resource Office Region 2, which provides HR Services to SCI Fayette and SCI Greene.

Description of Duties:
Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor.

Serves as the Regional Office's Online Position Description (PD) coordinator. Establishes and maintains tracking/monitoring systems to ensure that accurate and current PDs are in place for institutional complement. Issues reminders and provides technical assistance to supervisors in the use of the Online PD (OLPD) Tool application. Provides training/guidance on appropriate position description content standards and makes recommendations for PD revisions.

Maintains the Official Personnel Files (OPFs) for all employees at SCI Fayette and SCI Greene. Ensures that all Electronic Official Personnel Folders (e-OPFs) are maintained in accordance with Management Directive 505.18. Ensures all required new hire documents are uploaded to the e-OPF in a timely manner. Uploads a variety of documents into the e-OPFs using HRDoc. Once uploaded, verifies and certifies the documents in SAP.

Assists in performing administrative functions related to Labor Relations for Region 2 such as: receiving and logging grievances; making files for grievances; copying packets and scheduling meetings. Tracks information requests, gathers information and drafts a response for the ERM/FHRO signature.

Assists in scheduling modified duty assignments.

Serves as the backup FMLA and Workers Comp Coordinator for Region 2 by submitting requests for employees seeking FMLA and forwarding supporting documentation to supervisors and the FMLA unit. Maintains familiarity with CBAs and policy in order to answer questions for employees and supervisors and ensures appropriate leave is entered in SAP.

Assists with ensuring monthly clock in/out reports are ran for Management.

Assists with payroll audits.

Assists with CN letters and AW tracking.

Performs other related duties as required.

Work is performed under the supervision of the FHRO in accordance with work objectives and standards as well as adherence to scheduling, establishing of priorities and working within specific timeframes.
