Position Purpose:
Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. Example: Provides clerical and office support within the Division to ensure its operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. 

This position reports directly to the PREA Compliance Manager (PCM) and is responsible for coordinating the institutions compliance with Department policy, internal PREA response plan and federal PREA standards.

Description of Duties:
Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor.

70% Provides administrative support to the PREA Compliance Manager (PCM) and serves as the point of contact for PREA related issues within the institution.

Coordinates the availability of all records, files, etc. At the conclusion of the review, assists the PCM in preparing and distributing the confidential report.

Coordinates and schedule Sexual Abuse Incident Review Committee Meetings.

Collects and Assists the PCM in preparing monthly and annual reports for submission to Central Office.

Contacts, coordinates, and schedules service provider access to inmates for Victim Services.

Services as a point of contact for other institutions with regards to PREA as well as Victim Service.

Develops and maintains documentation required and assists PCM in preparing for PREA audits and mock audits.

Communicates and serves as a liaison with the Security Office, Medical and Mental Health Departments, Unit Teams, and others within the facility to request and disseminate required documentation. Obtains necessary information and documentation from the various areas and tracks for timeliness.

Maintains PREA Training Verification forms all non DOC visitors, volunteers, vendors and contract staff.

Schedules and prepares training materials regarding PREA. Assists with conducting training, as needed. Ensures appropriate training records are compiled, distributed, and maintained.

Remains current with and disseminates information on policies, procedures, standards, and programs related to PREA.

Ensures documentation and tracking of all sexual abuse and sexual harassment allegations made within the SCI are completed and received within specified timeframes.

Prepares correspondence on behalf of the PCM, to include providing notifications.
Uses Microsoft and other software programs to develop databases and reports. Creates logs through such programs to track various PREA related information and processes such as reports, investigations, and due dates for administration of the PREA Risk Assessment Tool (PRAT).

Prep files for the PREA Lieutenant.

Issue Fact Finding & Pre Disciplinary notices as needed.
Designs forms and creates templates for informational purposes. Coordinates, compiles, and creates presentations and related materials.
