Position Purpose:
Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. Example: Provides clerical and office support within the Division to ensure its operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. 

To print a variety of material for the Department using various printing equipment in GSC.Printing and other related equipment when required to assist.

Description of Duties:
Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor.

1. Use assigned Graphic Servece Center equipment efficiently.

2. Support Moving PennDot forward goal of Maintenance First/Intermodalism by printing materials accurate and on time.

3. Have working knowledge of various printing techniques and devices . Operate digital equipment effeciently.

4. Work as a team,helping all other employees in GSC as needed when assigned equipment is down or workload requires.

5. Identify and implement ways to do the work better,improve effeciently and enhance quality.

6. Maintain communication skills with Supervisor and fellow employees and customers.

7. Develop skills through training and mentor novice/inexperienced operators.

8. Maintain customers high rate of customer satisfaction.

9. Maintain safe and environmentally sound work area.

10.Meet productivity requirement depending on the job type or assignment.

11.Maintain a paper copy of daily production and preventative maintenance records.

12. Assess your environment and be responsible for your safety, the safety of co-workers, and the public.

13. Attend required safety training and adhere to the requirements of all safety manuals, policies, and laws.

14. Immediately report to your supervisor any incident, unsafe practice, or near miss.

15. When in an enclosed environment (office buildings, confined spaces, flagger stations, equipment pinch points, etc.), know your evacuation process and escape route, your communication protocols, and appropriately react in the event of an incident.

16. Take an active role in succession planning by completing a Career Development Plan in collaboration with the supervisor. In conjunction with the supervisor, participate in knowledge management/transfer by identifying key aspects of the job and sharing explicit and tacit program/technical knowledge with other employees.

17. Perform other related duties as required.
