Serve as onsite time advisor for all non-H1 SCI Chester staff by allocating overtime and making corrections as needed prior to payroll processing. Troubleshoots actions involving incorrect monies, improper pay increases etc. and submits tickets/PAR’s for corrections. Provides guidance and assistance to employees on entering time in ESS. Enters leave without pay actions in SAP and processes grievance settlements. Responsible for maintaining employee medical documentation and forwarding to central office staff as needed as well as any other leave documentation requested. Process separations for all non H-1 personnel to include, submitting the separation PAR, preparing the acknowledgement letter for signature, notifying designated staff of separations, ensuring property is returned (send follow-up letters when needed) and unlocking the employees record timely for final payout. Submit tickets for temporary working-out-of-class assignments (TWOC) and ensure staff are compensated appropriately for any TWOC assignment. Serve as the Worker Compensation liaison between the SCI Chester field office and the Workers Compensation resource center. Receive, review for completeness and enter WC packets into ESS. Coordinate the modified duty program for staff. Assist supervisors and managers with finding appropriate modified duty placements. Review medical documentation to ensure approval is consistent with existing policy. Prepare modified duty approval letters and position descriptions in conjunction with facility supervisors. Track and monitor approval periods and extensions of modified duty. Complete role mapping, role assignments and changes in work schedules as requested. Conduct new employee orientation by presenting time, pay and benefit information to new employees. Assist employees in completing the necessary forms to add or remove dependents to coverage or to change beneficiaries. Maintain and distribute all required reports according to established schedule to include weekly status report, personnel changes, and employees out on leave. Counsel staff regarding leave, pay, collective bargaining agreements, unemployment compensation programs, vacancies, civil service status and seniority inquiries. Maintain/order supplies for HR Office through APR system per policy. Assist with uploading, certifying and purging documents in the electronic official personnel file. Perform other related duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing. 2. Review and interpret information. 3. Operate basic office equipment. 4.
