Position Purpose: Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. Example: Provides clerical and office support within the Division to ensure its operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. This position serves primarily to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of agency operations by coordinating and providing general training, marketing, system analysis, and orientation services to all new employees within PCCD and to external stakeholders. The position will work in conjunction with all PCCD Offices in analyzing and evaluating current training/orientation processes, developing and delivering universal materials that can be used for general audiences and across multiple Offices, and assisting Offices, if requested, for targeted technical assistance. |

Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. This position serves as a key conduit between community organizations, school administrators, approved providers, and PCCD. The role provides high‑level technical assistance and complex analytical support across multiple ORSI-administered programs, including: • School Safety and Security Funding • School Safety and Security Training • Violence Intervention & Prevention (VIP)/Building Opportunities through Out-of-School Time (BOOST) • Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NPSGF) Key Analytical Duties include: • Reviews, evaluates, and analyzes programs and projects to determine the extent to which goals and objectives are being met. • Determines appropriate evaluation methodologies, prepares data collection tools, and gathers information through surveys, research, and system queries. • Evaluates policies, guidance, procedures, and statutory frameworks that govern school safety and ORSI’s programs, making recommendations to management for improvements or revisions. • Analyzes statutory and regulatory provisions and develops technical assistance for school entities and organizations to align with requirements. • Develops recommendations for program changes and operational improvements based on analytical findings. Key training and Learning Management Responsibilities: • Responsible for developing and revising training materials and for preparing and revising user training content. • Designs and manages training workgroups; reviews curricula; collaborates with subject matter experts; and creates and manages online training modules using Articulate and Canvas LMS. • Certifies successful training completion and develops and maintains system training documentation. Key Program Administration and Compliance Monitoring Responsibilities: • Conducts compliance monitoring of approved school safety training providers, security assessment providers, and third party vendors, ensuring adherence to statutory and policy requirements. • Reviews program policies and operational documentation, ensuring alignment with state and federal requirements and recommending changes as needed. • Reviews, analyzes, and develops recommendations for preparing and managing funding announcements, funding plans, program documents, compliance reporting materials, and analytical summaries. • Develops, updates and tracks monitoring activities for multiple ORSI funding streams. Data Management Responsibilities: • Creates, maintains, and uses databases and spreadsheets to record, analyze, and track data for multiple training and compliance efforts. • Develops annual and biannual surveys; conducts data analysis; and prepares reports summarizing findings. • Organizes datasets and ensures accuracy and completeness of inputs. Other duties: • Prepares slide decks, executive committee materials, and meeting documentation. • Assists with complex coordination of internal/external workgroups including the selection of workgroup members and the determination of whether a workgroup is necessary. • Serves as backup for ORSI resource accounts ensuring that external messaging is managed timely and accurately • Performs other analytical and administrative duties as assigned, consistent with work requiring independence and sound analytical judgment. |
