Position Purpose: Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. Example: Provides clerical and office support within the Division to ensure its operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. Personnel assigned to this position are responsible for scanning, indexing, verifying and preparing Criminal History fingerprint cards and documents that are to be entered into an automated Imaging System. Personnel are also responsible for the extraction, filing, and maintenance of the Criminal Records of an assigned section within the criminal jacket files. |

Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. 60% - Scans, verifies and prepares all Criminal History fingerprint cards and documents so that they may be entered into the automated Integra Archive system so the different Units within the Bureau may access imaged Criminal History data. 15% - Remove criminal jacket and replace with properly completed charge-out card to distribute to other Units within the Bureau so work may be completed efficiently and effectively. 15% - Log all returning criminal jackets in an access database and refile the criminal jackets in proper location that have been returned by the other Units within the Bureau to ensure proper maintenance of the Criminal History files. 5% - Prepare first or subsequent arrest or applicant fingerprint cards and certified court documents and file this information in the appropriate criminal jacket for future access to this information. 5% - Performs other related duties as required. |
