Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. Utilize the Automated Misconduct Tracking System (AMTS) to ensure all misconducts, informal reports, and appeals are accurately accounted for and entered. Cross train with the preparation of misconduct hearings/PRC. Complete daily entries on the Central Office WEBTas System in accordance with misconduct charges received that date. Type reports, documents, and correspondence from handwritten drafts, dictated sources, or original documents into draft or final form. Serve as recorder for meetings, fact finding sessions, and similar functions. Proofread materials to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with agency rules and regulations. Collect and organize material for reports and present information in prescribed formats. Maintain computer databases and records as required. Answer and direct phone calls; receive visitors and direct them appropriately. Prepare and process incoming and outgoing mail; send and receive faxes. Respond to written and verbal inquiries by creating, printing, and distributing reports or providing requested information. Maintain confidentiality inside and outside the office. Open and maintain electronic and paper files according to office standards. File documents, sort alphabetically or numerically, and purge files as required. Request supplies, equipment, and furniture via APR/shopping carts. Order, stock, and distribute departmental forms and documents. Enter travel reimbursement receipts and book travel for personnel. Monitor and schedule routine preventative maintenance for office equipment. Serve as back up Switchboard Operator as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Essential Functions 1.
