Position Purpose: Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. Example: Provides clerical and office support within the Division to ensure its operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. This position supports the Talent Management functions in the EBR HR Delivery Center. The employee in this position will perform work assignments designed to develop a comprehensive understanding of Talent Management while making meaningful contributions to the work of the Delivery Center. |

Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. This position participates in a 12-month training program which provides on-the-job and formal training in assisting higher-level human resource professionals with Talent Management functions. Assists in providing technical guidance and customer service to managers and supervisors regarding talent management topics. Assist with assessing hiring needs and implementing hiring process for filling vacant positions. Assist with providing guidance to agency supervisors and managers in creating and updating position descriptions. Assists with researching and preparing list removal requests on behalf of agency approval. Assist with the placement activities related to coordinating right of return requests and returns related to rejection during the probationary period. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with agency executives, program managers, and HR professionals at the DC and centralized levels to collaborate on the resolution HR issues. Prepares correspondence and reports related to talent management activities for client agencies. Performs other related work as required. |
