The regional Aquatic Biologist intern (Clean Water Program, SERO) assists regional Aquatic Biologists in completing technical work required to support the region’s water management programs. |

Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. Assists regional biologists in conducting watershed assessments, cause/effect surveys, point of first use surveys, and collection of annual fish tissue samples. Learn, and assist in, laboratory processing of benthic macroinvertebrate samples collected as part of waterbody surveys. |

All intern work will be reviewed by the supervisor. |
