Position Purpose: Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. In order to ensure the integrity of racing, Farm Worker 1 is assigned to collect urine and assist in the taking of blood samples for testing purposes. |

Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. 1. Collect urine from assigned horses 2. Pick up sample kit from State Veterinarian's offic; verify sample numbers on urine cup security straps and witness receipt. 3. Notify State Veterinarian urine has been collected and assist State Veterinarian in bleeding horse. 4. The horse must be under the observation of the Farm Worker at all times. 5. Identify horse by reading and verifying the tatoo number. 6. Return urine sample to collection barn, split and wrap urine and blood samples according to established guidelines. 7. Clean work area 8. Bed stalls 9. Other work deemed necessary or appropriate by supervisor |
