Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. Conduct basic sanitation inspections and re-inspections, if warranted, of Department of Education contracted feeding sites and submit completed reports to Regional Food Safety Supervisor or Program Specialist. Collect, pack and send samples of food (at least one sample of milk and a meat sample) to the Food Safety Laboratory, Harrisburg. Assist regional food safety staff with inspections of seasonal event related facilities. Assist with other food sampling and surveying as necessary to include collecting milk samples, water samples, or any on going sampling projects. |
