Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. Operates equipment such as truck with and without trailers, drill rig equipment, water truck, and electric drill. Maintains required Commercial Driver’s License (Class A CDL) with air brake restriction removed and tank vehicle endorsements (N) needed to operate equipment on which trained and certified, including a minimum of heavy truck loader. Properly performs and documents all required pre-and post-operations checks in accordance with Department and legal requirements on a daily basis. This position is subject and alcohol testing in accordance with federal regulations. Performs all necessary field adjustments to permit safe operation and minimize wear. Performs minor repairs and preventative maintenance work on equipment which includes cleaning and servicing equipment. Demonstrates operation of assigned equipment to other employees.
