Position Purpose: Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. Example: Provides clerical and office support within the Division to ensure its operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. Promptly processes new court and parole investigations submitted by SOAB Investigators. Prepares the files, sends to the SOAB Member, and uploads to the SOAB’s Integrated Sex Offender Assessment Tracking System (ISOATS) database. |

Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. Reviews hard copy and scanned investigations for completeness and accuracy to comply with the SOAB retention policy. Answers, makes, and directs phone calls received from courts, attorneys, offenders and the general public. Records and distributes messages. Responds to general inquiries, and reviews files to respond to basic information requests. Receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail. Prepares and sends outgoing mailings and packages. Maintains, compiles and tracks reports in ISOATS. Confers with Investigator Manager regarding any investigation or investigator caseload issues. Performs back up administrative support for all SOAB regions. Lifting and carrying boxes of supplies, paper, case files, etc., for short distances. Performs other related duties as required. |
