Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Intern will work at the Laurel Hill State Park complex, consisting of Laurel Hill, Kooser and Laurel Ridge State Parks. Work with park staff to learn how to direct a maintenance program to insure park grounds, structures, facilities, and equipment are properly maintained. Assist in directing all park recreational and educational activities to insure optimum use of facilities. Work with park staff on special maintenance projects as needed as well as day to day grounds keeping. Engage with the visiting public through contacts both in the office and field.
