Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. Work closely with the Marketing Department to assist with implementing the Quarterly Action Plan for TREC and Presque Isle. Organize and distribute TREC and Presque Isle State Park marketing collateral to be distributed throughout the Erie Community including regional Welcome Centers. Assist with exhibiting opportunities at area trade shows to increase community awareness of programs and services. Assist with developing and updating the marketing collateral to best promote seasonal programs. This will include graphic design implementation when feasible. Assist with the development of press releases and media advisories for TREC, Presque Isle, and special events. Assist with the development of power point presentations to best promote Presque Isle Services and Programs within the Erie Community and region. Develop business relationships with targeted groups within the community to best promote the programs and services being made available at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center and Presque Isle State Park. Assist the Community Relations Department and Partners with special events, planning, and organization of the event. Coordinate targeted mailings as necessary. Assist the Community Relations Department in formulating distribution lists for marketing and community relations purposes. Assist the Community Relations Department with other job duties and responsibilities inherent to the daily operations of the department. |
