Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. Provides document retrieval services by validating documents for the enrollment of customers into REAL ID. The employee performs document retrieval from images stored on microfilm, microfiche, CD-ROM, and ECS (Enterprise Content Services). The employee performs work in a time-sensitive confidential environment that requires orderly filing and maintenance of documents and images in the Bureaus' storage library. Utilizes the Retrieval electronic in box to process work and send work back to the requestor. Utilizes the fax machine. Retrieve requests by either Driver Licensing or Motor Vehicle (WID) work identification numbers. Has knowledge of transaction codes of DL & CARATS systems. Maintains a daily production report of amount of requests received, processed, and carryover. Identifies and reports problems with microfilm rolls or microfiche to supervisor. Identifies problems with images from ECS. Operates and maintains the Minolta MS-6000 through PC interface. Performs minor troubleshooting on Minolta MS-6000 and reports problems to supervisor. Makes inquiries into the computer master file using a PC. Interprets the data contained on vehicle records. File original batched documents by year and day. Log or assist in logging incoming microfilm rolls. Assist in researching of microfilm rolls, misfiled rolls and file records. Advise other areas what transaction codes are needed to retrieve records. During peak seasons, must be available for overtime hours to alleviate workload. Performs other related work duties as assigned. Safety: 1. Attend required safety training and adhere to the requirements of all safety manuals, policies, and laws. 3. Immediately report to your supervisor any incident, unsafe practice, or near miss. 4. When in an enclosed environment (office buildings, confined spaces, flagger stations, equipment pinch points, etc.), know your evacuation process and escape route, your communication protocols, and appropriately react in the event of an incident. |

All rolls of film are to be filed correctly in their designated place in the microfilm library. Also microfiche and original paper documents are to be filed correctly in their proper order. Identify ECS imaging problems and notify supervisor. |
