Position Purpose: Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. Assist the DCNR Climate and Sustainability team with the development and implementation of the agency strategic priorities around sustainability, including reducing its carbon footprint, increasing energy efficiency and demonstrating best practices to agency staff and to the public. |

Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. Assist with the work of the DCNR Climate and Sustainability initiative, its co-chairs, and team members. Assist with information gathering and tracking best practices from other states and within Pennsylvania. Assist with conducting research and data analysis of agency metrics, as well as solutions and proposals being considered. Assist with developing briefing materials and internal communications. |
