Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. Receives, unpacks, inspects, and records the receipt of goods. Places goods in proper storage locations and dates materials if required. Checks for compliance according to rules and regulations if applicable. Completes internal orders by pulling and delivering inventory supplies to the requestor and completes any paperwork involved in the departments' daily, weekly, and monthly Internal Store Requisitions and their delivery. Ensure supply levels are maintained and stock is replenished. rotates stock in supply areas according to usage and expiration date. Posts incoming shipments to perpetual inventory records. Maintains weekly and/or monthly usage figures. Identifies and reports discrepancies of inventory records. Assists in the identification, relocation, and/or disposal of surplus property. Assist in storing, relocating, and assembling high-volume inventor that periodically requires replacement. Participates in physical inventory counts of storerooms. Provides information to the Storekeeper 2, Administrative Officer 1, and/or the Accounting Department as necessary. Maintains an alphabetical and/or numerical filing system of requisitions, receipts, inventories, checklists, correspondence, and other related documents. Operates a fax machine, scanner, copier, calculator, computer, and computer software which may include but is not limited to SAP, SRM, R/3, and Outlook to communicate discrepancies of deliveries, enter goods receipts, and check the status of purchase orders. Prepares various documents pertaining to Storeroom Department needs and answers telephone calls. Operates forklift, hand pallet trucks, electric pallet trucks, and box truck. Lifts and moves heavy objects. Packages and returns goods to vendors such as duplicate shipments and damaged goods. Maintains clean and orderly storage areas in accordance with regulatory standards. Cleans and maintains equipment assigned in storeroom and stockroom areas. Support the facility QAPI efforts by attending all assigned QAPI training and following established policies and procedures in support of QAPI. Participate in PIP teams as assigned. Share ideas for improvement in the organization; support QAPI efforts both verbally and non-verbally, including adjusting performance and practice in accordance with QAPI initiatives and findings. Performs work in accordance with the DMVA general safety rules and safety rules for this position. Immediately reports all workplace injuries or incidents to the supervisor; and/or immediately corrects any safety hazards in the work area or reports same to supervisor. Use personal protective equipment when required such as gloves, masks, face shield, etc. Performs related duties as required. |
