Position Purpose: Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. Example: Provides clerical and office support within the Division to ensure its operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. Primarily provides custodial and maintenance support for the Centre Region Office (CRO) Building and the H.R. Stackhouse Training School. Assists with maintaining the grounds surrounding the CRO and Fisherman’s Paradise access area. As needed, works as part of the Maintenance 5 team to support the upkeep and maintenance of Fish & Boat access areas throughout Central Pennsylvania. |

Description of Duties: Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor. This is a seasonal position working approximately eight months per year. Performs routine custodial duties including emptying trash, cleaning offices, restrooms, windows, porches, and walkways, as well as sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and providing laundry services as needed. Empties trash and recyclables, removes large disposable items, and transports waste to site dumpsters. Cleans and disinfects restrooms, including fixtures, floors, walls, partitions, and trim. Restocks soap, paper products, and restroom supplies. Sweeps, vacuums, and damp mops entryways, halls, stairs, and other high-traffic areas. Strips, scrubs, waxes, and buffs tile floors and shampoos carpets as needed. Cleans interior and exterior windows, sills, trim, blinds, light fixtures, bulbs, covers, and shades. Maintains hallways, lobby areas, alcoves, and exterior entrance lighting. Performs or coordinates basic repairs as necessary. Provides custodial and lodging support for the H.R. Stackhouse Training School during visitor occupancy, including cleaning facilities, laundering linens and towels, and changing bed linens as directed. Must be available for occasional weekend shifts to support residents and visitors at the H.R. Stackhouse Training School with advance notice provided. Performs outdoor maintenance duties including mowing, debris removal, and snow shoveling/plowing. Assists with maintenance operations at other locations throughout Central Pennsylvania as needed. Performs related duties as required. |
