Position Purpose:
Describe the primary purpose of this position and how it contributes to the organization’s objectives. Example: Provides clerical and office support within the Division to ensure its operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. 

The work of this position focuses on data analysis and the production of informative cross-functional data reports to inform strategic initiatives, support operational initiatives and fulfill reporting requirements. This position will utilize data analysis practices to monitor trends, produce reports for outreach and other operational needs, and answer ad hoc data questions about the program. This position will also be responsible for clearly conveying, visualizing and communicating data analysis to management and other Pennie teams.

Description of Duties:
Describe in detail the duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Descriptions should include the major end result of the task. Example: Types correspondence, reports, and other various documents from handwritten drafts for review and signature of the supervisor.

Conducts data analysis to support strategic and operational initiatives across the program.

Works with management team to understand prioritization of data needs for each business area.

Produces regular reports in an accurate and timely manner to fulfill organizational needs and government reporting requirements.

Ensures the proper application of statistical, mathematical, or systems methods in order to analyze data to generate informative data and coordinate the compilation and organization of the data into written reports. Prepares graphs, charts, and tables to summarize findings for further level planning, monitoring, and resource allocation.

Assists members of the data team to problem solve and double check reports.

Create and support data quality standards and processes.

Uses data to create models to identify and highlight trends about Pennie’s customers.

Reviews and adds input as necessary to presentations, manuscripts, graphs, and tables to ensure accuracy and quality of data being presented.

Identifies and recommends new ways to collect, analyze and report on data which promote accuracy and efficiency.

Adheres to relevant policies regarding confidentiality and data security to ensure appropriate use of data.

Assist members of the data team and other functional areas with data analysis and reporting sessions.

Maintains quality service by following organization standards.

Contributes to team effort in all aspects of project implementation by being willing to take on necessary tasks outside immediate scope of responsibility.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

 1. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
 2. Develop data collection and utilization strategies which increase productivity but minimize cost.

 4. Use MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and other project management tools.
 5. Manage complex data analytics and reporting projects to meet deliverables in tight timeframes.
 6. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with agency staff, senior leadership, vendors, and stakeholders.
 7. Serve as educational resource on data management systems utilized within PHIEA.
 8. Manage multiple complex priority projects and respond to changes quickly and effectively.
 9. Prepares reports and communications.
 10. Travels, as required to headquarters office, meetings, conferences, and trainings.
