Position Purpose:

The Operations Associate will support daily operations across multiple departments at the to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the Governor’s Residence. This position will assist housekeeping, guest services, and event operations to ensure the highest standards of hospitality, cleanliness, safety and readiness. The incumbent must be able to shift responsibilities seamlessly based on operational priorities while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and flexibility.

Description of Duties:

General Operations Support
• Provide flexible support across Housekeeping, Guest Experience, and Maintenance departments based on daily operational needs
• Respond promptly to direction from supervisor during peak activity periods, events, or urgent situations
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, transporting, setting up, and breaking down furniture, equipment, and supplies
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of shared workspaces and storage areas
• Identify operational needs for events and departmental daily duties proactively and take initiative to address them

Housekeeping Support
• Assist with room resets, deep cleaning, and turnover preparation
• Ensure all rooms and common areas meet executive-level cleanliness, presentation, and readiness standards
• Support laundry operations including washing, folding, organizing, steaming, and ironing linens
• Replenish and organize linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies throughout the residence
• Monitor housekeeping and cleaning supply inventory and coordinate restocking as needed
• Spot-clean high-traffic and public areas throughout the day

Guest Experience & Hospitality Support
• Assist guest experience and service teams with preparation, execution, and breakdown of official functions
• Support table settings, room staging, and hospitality details for events and daily operations
• Provide non-lead assistance during food and beverage service as directed
• Run items, restock service stations, and assist with guest needs during events
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere strictly to Residence security, protocol, and privacy standards
• Organize and maintain guest experience inventory, equipment, and supplies

Event Setup & Maintenance Support
• Assist with setup and breakdown for meetings, receptions, dinners, and official events
• Arrange furniture, décor, seating, and equipment according to event plans and layouts
• Prepare dining and reception spaces to ensure service readiness and visual consistency
• Support events during execution by maintaining cleanliness, guest flow, and space functionality
• Restore spaces to standard configuration following events, ensuring readiness for subsequent use
• Report maintenance or repair needs promptly to appropriate staff

Essential Functions
